  6. On Saturday, April 7, 2012, WFFNA held its 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Festersen Park! It was well attended by over 165 registered children and their accompanying parents and relatives. The children enjoyed frosting mini-cupcakes, coloring Easter Bunny Bags, an Egg Relay Race, and scrambled for candy as a piñata broke. Of course, everyone got to pose for a picture with the Easter Bunny. The children had a great time as they scrambled around the park areas to find over 500 Easter eggs to turn in to receive special ‘treat bags’, including the magic gold ‘prize’ eggs. We can't wait to do it again next year! The WFFNA Activities Committee would like to express its appreciation to the Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (RCONA) for the $100 it will reimburse WFFNA towards costs of the event, and a special thank you to Loren Cook who built and donated the Bunny’s chair. In addition to the parents who helped with clean-up at the end, we want to send a big thank you to all the members of the WFFNA Activities Committee and volunteers who helped make this fun event possible for our children, including: Charis Cardeno, Robert & Francine Gorman, Amy & Marc Sapoznik, Loren & Sue Cook, Jennifer Maguire, and Sean Bailey.
