Roseville City Council's Candidates Forum

CC-Candidate-Forum.webp

Monday, September 9, 2024

On Monday, September 9, 2024, the Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (RCONA) will host a Council Candidates Forum (CCF) for District 5 candidates vying to represent residents on the Roseville City Council in the November 8 election.  The RCONA CCF will give city council candidates the opportunity to meet residents and answer questions about their goals and positions on local issues.

Although these candidates are from District 5, the elected member would be a member of the full City Council and their views would have potential input citywide.

The Placer County League of Women Voters will moderate the forum, to ensure impartiality and fairness to all the candidates.  Candidates are, in alphabetical order: Karen Alvord, Nicholas Busse, Pete Constant, Murial Moore, and David Powell.

The CCF will take place at the Martha Riley Library Meeting Rooms, 1545 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Roseville, CA 95747.

Doors will open at 6:15 PM.  Audience members will be offered an opportunity to submit questions for the candidates until 6:40 PM.

CCF will begin at 6:45 PM.  Introductions will begin and the moderator will proceed with candidate questions.
